Cry BABY.

I was just Skyping with my son, eldest daughter and husband over in England and I started to blubber. I had to end the call and just bawl like a baby.

I miss them so much. But I did this drawing and it made me laugh!

Two and a half more weeks 'til we join them. Until then, I'll be using his t-shirt as a hankie.

Biggest cry baby moment?

  1. Son was born. Cried the second I walked into the room until I left. Non-stop, my wife, who was having a C-section had to comfort me.

  2. I bawled when my youngest was born. I was so scared he would never make it here and lost it when I heard his first cry.

  3. BTW, love the picture. I can draw but I'm no good at this cartoon type of drawing.

  4. My biggest cry moment was when I had to shuttle to and from Toronto every 2 weeks. Some weekends he would come and stay with me in Toronto and I would hate it because I would have to drive him to the airport and see him wave bye bye which made me cry like a baby and he couldn't do anything (like give me another hug) or else he would miss his flight. WAHHHHHHHH...

  6. The day I realized that I had to divorce my husband. It was heart-breaking to know that I couldn't go on like that and finally give up.

(geez, Blogger STILL won't let me comment properly!)

  9. I just love this drawing. You've truly captured "essence of cry-baby." My biggest cry-baby moments are way too dark for a page with a baby on it. But the one that seems to fit your drawing is this one: whenever my husband starts crying, I usually start crying.

  10. You've all touched me with your stories! I always think a "cry-baby" is someone who cries for no good reason. I know many other people have it way worse than me and I shouldn't feel sorry for myself. But there are moments in our lives when we are moved to tears and we just can't help it. It's like a release....

  11. My dog died.
I cried when I was sleeping. Cried in my dreams. Woke up to cry. Couldn't stop, couldn't help it. Could not bear it. There had been all sorts of cry-worthy times – devastating life blows, scary, life-changing diagnoses, deaths – but the dog? My dog?

  12. Yes many "cry-baby" moments for me too. Just 5 days ago we took our 10 yr old to the airport for 2 weeks in Hawaii to visit with family. (she flew with the family who were visiting here). I started to bawl even before they left. This continued throughout the day. I'm a little better now, but I still have my moments. She comes home on the 26th I will no doubt bawl when I see her :* ) tears of joy!

  13. I've had a lot of cry baby moments and obviously I'm not alone in that. ;) I cry when I'm horribly stressed, especially if the stress is work related. I feel so stupid when it happens but it helps to relieve the pressure, I think.
