Dare to DREAM.

It was an honour to do the Opening Keynote at the first ever Aiming Low Non-Conference...and I wasn't nervous at all. I actually got everyone to sing the original Star Trek theme whilst The Huz sorted out the audio-visual. That was kinda epic.

And then there was this:

1. Sit on your good hand.

2. Shut one eye.

3. Using your other hand, tweet:  "I can. #NonCon"

And then we used both our hands to give the incredibly feisty Anissa Mayhew a round of applause for getting us together at the NonCon. She made her dream come true.

If she can, you can too.

  1. It was an incredible keynote: made all the more memorable by being noncon's FIRST keynote.

You said all the right things, and brought us to tears so very sweetly, with a roomful of love for Anissa.

I wouldn't have been anywhere else.

THANKS for being there for all of us.

  8. Awww, I didn't see this so didn't get a chance to participate! Wait, here we go...bear with me...here come the pins and needles...I can!

This comment took me nearly an hour to write.

Also, did you know that the original Star Trek theme had words written by Gene Roddenberry? He wrote the lyrics with no intention of them ever being sung so that he could cash in just a little bit more every time that song was played.

    1. Dude, I did not know that about the Star Trek theme. Even in the animation world we try to squeeze lyrics into any song. Where can one find the lyrics? Citation needed!

  11. Unquestionably consider that that you stated. Your favourite justification appeared
to be at the web the simplest factor to remember of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed whilst other people think about concerns that they just do not know about.
You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and also
defined out the whole thing with no need side effect , people could take a
signal. Will likely be again to get more. Thanks
